Located in Betalbatim, Jimsons Caterers has been a favourite with locals for over 25 years, and are renowned for their innovative and mouthwatering offerings.
Founded in the year 2000 by Hilarinho Cota, the catering business is a family affair, with his son, Jimmy Cota, playing an integral role from the age of 15.
Apart from planning the menu, Jimmy manages other important elements of the business and is also joined by his wife as well as his father.
“I handle guest relations, setting the menu and overall execution,” he elaborates. “The kitchen is handled by my wife and father.”
For the past five years, Jimsons Caterers has been offering a special Christmas menu, and this year, they’re bringing back the crowd favorite: Cured Pork Leg Ham.
Some of the standout dishes include Pork Vindaloo, Stuffed Chicken Roast, imported Teriyaki Roast Peking Duck, Chilli Garlic Tongue and a delicious Crab Bake for seafood lovers.
Shares Jimmy, “We cater to groups of up to 50 people and also offer takeaways by the kilogram.”
While Jimsons specialises in a wide variety of non-vegetarian dishes, they also have options for vegetarians and a couple of Continental offerings.
“We do not cater to gluten-free cuisine, however, if the client asks for a specific need, we do cater to that,” Jimmy explains.
