Music is empowering, sometimes bringing that incredible urge to pick up learning an instrument, mimic the performer's style or hum melodious tunes uncontrollably.
We’ve all grown up holding a plastic microphone to our mouths and pretending to entertain an audience. Thanks to the music industry and the incredible artistes it has given the world, that has in turn revealed the musicians in us.
Listening to the tunes of his favourite artiste, sparked a similar music interest in UK-based Rob Kingsley.
“My love for Elvis started as a small child. After hearing Hound Dog on the radio, I was hooked on it,” says Rob, a tribute artiste who will be bringing ‘A Vision of Elvis’ tour to Goa this October.
The King of Rock n' Roll, Elvis Presley was one of the greatest performers who left an indelible mark on the music scene, and whose hits like Jailhouse Rock, Suspicious Minds, Blue Suede Shoes and the classic Can’t Help Falling In Love still stir up emotions in listeners.
Elvis’ music touches so many people and he is, and will always be, the greatest entertainer of all time.
Rob Kingsley, Elvis Tribute Artist
Inspired by the legend himself, Rob, after military service, decided to pursue a career as an Elvis Tribute Artist. “Elvis’ music touches so many people, and he is, and will always be, the greatest entertainer of all time,” smiles Rob.
Performing all the rocking tracks from Elvis’ music repertoire, for almost 16 years now, Rob reveals his all-time favourite song, saying it’s An American Trilogy.
“I have loved every minute of it and really admire his (Elvis Presley) vocal ability and the vast range of songs he recorded,” he says as he shares about his musical journey so far.
Standing on a stage and performing in front of an audience has been a dream Rob has managed to realise. He shares that he has had a lot of rewarding memories on a lot of different stages, all over the world.
“When I performed at the new Wembley Stadium, in the UK, to over 60,000 people, that was a very surreal moment,” he reminisces.

On a mission to take Elvis’ timeless music across the world and continue to inspire generations, Rob is headed to India this October. He will be joined by a six-piece band.
“India has always been very intriguing for any musician. It’s also an absolute pleasure to be working with a very professional artistes’ management company, Neil Ribeiro International Events Concepts, who hold very high standards in the business.”
Extending an invite to Elvis Presley fans in Goa, Rob says, “The Goa audience can expect to be highly entertained with the greatest music and world class musicians, and we can’t wait to see you all.”
