Congress spokesperson Tulio de Souza on Monday lashed out at GFP and said “brokers have no moral right to call others agents.”

Citing the example of the 2017 Goa Assembly election when the Goa Forward Party (GFP) helped BJP form the government, Congress spokesperson Tulio de Souza on Monday lashed out at GFP and said “brokers have no moral right to call others agents.”

On Sunday, GFP working president Kiran Kandolkar said that the Congress party is an agent of BJP.

Alleging that people are still aware of the selfish politics of GFP, Tulio said: “Illegal construction is going on in Old Goa by destroying the heritage site, but Kiran Kandolkar and his party are not ready to talk about it. Why is Goa Forward silent on attempts to build illegally by following all the rules? Why doesn't Goa Forward now complain to UNESCO against this illegal construction?”
“The Congress party has clarified its position against the illegal construction and our leaders and office bearers have raised their voice against the illegal construction and have taken an active part in the agitation,” he added.
