CII IWN Goa Session on financial planning simplified

PANAJI: CII Indian Women Network (IWN), Goa chapter organised a session on financial planning simplified at Panaji on Thursday.
Creating a financial plan helps you see the big picture and set long and short-term life goals, a crucial step in mapping out your financial future. When you have a financial plan, it's easier to make financial decisions and stay on track to meet your goals.
The aim of this session was to simplify and understand the importance of a few products that would benefit all investors. There were 50+ companies that attended this informative session to learn how to use their finances well.
CII Indian Women Network (IWN), Goa chapter chairperson Sheetal Pai Kane welcomed the gathering. In her speech she spoke about the CII IWN, Goa chapter and about the experiences and challenges of women professionals at work; as well as the importance of creating gender parity in business and society, led to CII launching the Indian Women Network (IWN) in 2013. She stated that the IWN is an exclusive platform for career women, currently present in 14 States, one Union Territory and five zones nationally.
The session had four eminent speakers that shared their expertise in the field of finance: There were Samir Naik, senior manager-retail sales, IDFC Asset Management Ltd; Abdul Kadir Khan, manager-sales, DSP Investment Managers Pvt Ltd; Francisco Lobo, associate manager-strategic partnership, Go Digit General Insurance Ltd and Karen Raquel Martins Furtado, chartered accountant.
