PANAJI: A delegation from the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI) at Goa called on Flag Officer Commanding Goa Area on Wednesday at Headquarters Goa Naval Area for discussions on Colour Coded Zoning Map (CCZM) which has been promulgated for Goa Airport.
The delegation has explained the modalities of the CCZM and was assured that the provisions of CCZM in no way hamper real estate development of Goa and especially in Mormugao taluka, as the height permitted for construction as per CCZM is much more than those as per Goa government guidelines except in immediate vicinity of the runway.
FOGA assured the delegation that the CCZM and instructions for using the same will be shared with CREDAI immediately. It was also decided during the meeting that a workshop on GSR 751 (E), the rules governing constructions around any airport in the country and CCZM for Goa Airport, will be conducted by the Indian Navy in coordination with CREDAI for the benefit of people of Goa.
