CURCHOREM: Francis Xavier Pereira suspect in the desecration and vandalisation of Holy Cross situated at Kamral-Curchorem has been remanded to 12 days judicial custody by Quepem court on Saturday.
Pereira was arrested on Friday by Curchorem police after nabbing him at Margao Under Section 295, 427 of IPC and Section 3 of Prevention of Damage to Public Property (PDPP) Act for destroying name plaque which was installed while inaugurating renovated culvert on Curchorem-Kamral road.
