MARGAO: Dinesh Naik lost his eye-sight at the age of three. But despite not able to see the happenings going on around him he can feel it at a glance. Dinesh Naik is a resident of Devbag, Balli-Cuncolim. For some, the story of Dinesh may look funny and unbelievable. But, he had proved himself that he is capable of doing anything just like a common man. Climbing trees and especially on the coconut tree has become a routine habit for him.  He said, "I never went to school. In a sudden incident, I lost both the eye-sight. Thereafter I faced a lot of difficulties. But today I can manage myself with all my daily works".  Dinesh also said that he fell down twice from the jackfruit tree. Once, he fell down from the hight of nearly 12 to 15 feet. He was later taken to the doctor for medical treatment.  "I am a fan of famed singer Kishor Kumar and Kumar Shanu. He knows the maximum number of cricket players by their names besides his favourite politician is Prime Minister Narendra Modi. And the reason for the liking of Modi is that Prime Minister has taken several hard-core decisions for the betterment of the country.  "I can cook. Whenever there is no firewood at home, I just go to the nearby jungle and bring it. I have a hobby of swimming and can even today I can swim in the lake and river. I am also able to travel to nearby places without the help of anybody", he said.  For Dinesh, a bath at a nearby river is a daily habit and he can even wash his clothes without any help.
