Extortion calls to PWD minister One more held

The Panaji police arrested 40-year-old businessman from Kandivali-Mumbai for allegedly making several extortion calls to the PWD Minister Deepak Pauskar.

PANAJI: The Panaji police arrested 40-year-old businessman from Kandivali-Mumbai for allegedly making several extortion calls to the PWD Minister Deepak Pauskar.
The police gave the name of the accused as Manish Shah. He is the fourth accused arrested by the police.
The Panaji police took Shah into their custody from Mumbai police on transit remand on Friday and brought him to Goa.
However, Shah has denied his role and told the police that his mobile might have been misused to make the mischievous calls.
Earlier, the police had arrested three persons for making extortion calls to the PWD Minister.
