On Sunday, the Goa government extended the ongoing Coronavirus-induced curfew in the state. The previous curfew deadline was scheduled to end on August 2, although now, the date has been moved forward to August 9.
The administration issued the extension order, in which it said that all the Covid-19-related curbs would continue in the state and no fresh relaxations have been granted.
The order issued by the Goan government, mentions that casinos, auditoriums, entertainment parks, massage parlours, cinema halls and educational institutes (with exception) will remain closed. The order also mentioned the continued restriction on wedding gatherings - either 100 people or 50 per cent of the hall capacity are allowed to come together (whichever is lesser).
The order further mentions that bars and restaurants will be allowed to function from 7 am to 11 pm with 50 per cent capacity.
