Goa reports 90 news Covid-19 cases, 5 deaths

The total number of active cases in Goa stood at 833. 7 persons were discharged from the hospital on Tuesday.

Goa on Tuesday reported 90 new cases of Coronavirus. The overall case tally has now climbed to 1,76,235.

Also, the death toll in the coastal state has reached 3308 after five people succumbed to the virus in the day. Out of five, fours persons were over 60 years of age.

The number of daily recoveries in the coastal state was slightly more than the new cases. On Tuesday, 114 persons got cured of Covid-19, according to the Directorate of Health Services.

With a recovery rate of 97.65 per cent, Goa has also recorded 1,72,094 recovered patients so far.

The total number of active cases in Goa stood at 833. Seven persons were discharged from the hospital on Tuesday.

While the total number of active cases in Margao is 129, Ponda’s active caseload stood at 45. Panaji has reported 53 active cases, while Mapusa has 28 active cases.

16,382 people were vaccinated on Tuesday, taking the total count of beneficiaries vaccinated in Goa to 18,78,650.
