Navy Open windsurfing championship held

The current edition is the fourth Open Windsurfing Championship organised at INWTC Goa. Commodore Hemant Padbidri, Commanding Officer INS Hansa and Officiating FOGA, awarded prizes to the winners.

CHICALIM: The Navy open windsurfing championship 2020 held at Indian Naval Watermanship Training Centre (INWTC), Chicalim under the aegis of Indian Naval Sailing Association and Yachting Association of India from January 25 to 28.
Twelve races were conducted in 8 categories namely RS X, Race Board, Open, Bic Nova Open, Bic Nova masters, Race Board Youth and Race Board Junior. A total of 60 yachtsmen representing Navy Sailing Node Bhopal, Goa Yachting Association, Orissa Yachting Association, INWTC Kochi, EME Hyderabad and NCC Cadets from Jammu, Bangalore, Goa and Orissa participated.

The Best Inspired Yachting Trophy was awarded to Brig PC Roy and the Best Young Yachting Trophy was won by Nyneisha Vora.
