SSC exams as per schedule: Goa CM

PANAJI: Reiterating that SSC Examination will be held as per schedule, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that not more than 12 students will be made to sit in one class for answering the examination.

Speaking to media persons, Sawant said, "SSC Exam will be held as per schedule. I have spoken to the chairman ofGoa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE). For students from neighbouring states of Maharashtra and Karnataka, schools have been identified in their respective states for answering the exams. Wherever such arrangement is not possible and these students have to come to Goa, separate schools have been assigned."

Speaking further, Sawant said that in all 1,263 classrooms have been identified for students to answer the examination.

"The number of centres has been increased and all precautions like social distancing will be taken," he said.
