Suresh Pai has bagged the service award (Seva Puraskar) while Anant Agni has bagged the Serafino Cotta-sponsored Felicio Cardozo memorial teacher award.
Juje Piedade Quadros memorial activist award has been awarded to Shirish Pai.
Ligorio Furtado Trust award for journalism has been bagged by Kiriyal D’souza while Dinesh Manerkar- sponsored Chandrakant Keni memorial award for best columnist/column writing has been awarded to Mahesh Divekar.
Myron Jason Barreto is the bagged the late Narsinha Damodar Naik award for literature. He won the award for Aparintalyan Sandesh, a collection of essays.
Late Rock Barreto award for literature has been awarded to Shridhar Kamat for his book ‘Besur’.
The KBM will celebrate its 59th foundation day on September 30.
