The 19th State Youth Festival, organised by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, will be held from Nov 28, 2022 to Dec 1, 2022. The festival will be held at Ravindra Bhavan, Sankhali. The event will commence at 8.30 am and end at 5.30 pm. The festival aims at providing a platform to the youth of Goa to showcase their various talents.
The festival schedule is as follows:
Nov 28, 2022: Folk songs, tabla, classical vocal and harmonium
Nov 29, 2022: Performances bharatnatyam, kathak, sitar, guitar and flute. There will also be a poster competition, a PowerPoint presentation and a street play.
Nov 30, 2022: Folk dances, photography and rangoli.
Dec 1, 2022: One-act play and elocution.
Those who earn a winning spot in this festival will get a chance to participate in the National Youth Festival, which will be held later next year.
