One of Goa’s most loved and buzz-worthy cafes, Cafe Artjuna, which originally took Anjuna by storm, has now opened right in the heart of Panjim.

Yes, you heard that right — Panjim — and it’s on 18th June Road. This fresh spot is sure to make you forget all about the Anjuna location, even if you’re in the middle of the city’s hustle and bustle.

Nestled on the third floor of Satt Adhar House, Lobo Building, Artjuna Panjim offers a stunning panoramic view of the city from its rooftop perch. And, while it’s in the midst of the city’s busy vibes, the moment you step inside, the ambience immediately transports you straight to the laid-back, beachy Artjuna of Anjuna.

Samuel Ravikumar, the café’s general manager, shared the vision behind replicating the essence of their Anjuna outlet.

And, while it’s in the midst of the city’s busy vibes, the moment you step inside, the ambience immediately transports you straight to the laid-back, beachy Artjuna of Anjuna.

“We’ve stayed true to the vibe here. The ambience and feel are the same, but we’ve added a touch of Panjim to the décor so that the space connects with this urban crowd,” he explains.

How did they manage to bring the relaxed Artjuna vibe from Anjuna to the bustling heart of Panjim? Samuel shares, “As you walk in, you’ll find plenty of artwork and sculptures around. The idea is to bring a sense of relaxation and sophistication to Panjim’s corporate scene — without the need to travel all the way to Anjuna for it.”

And, it’s easy to see why. Everywhere you look, the cafe exudes a calm, artistic atmosphere. From the carefully placed greenery to the artwork featuring Panjim’s scenery, the space is as visually stimulating as it is peaceful.

Samuel gives a little more info about the art. “We make sure to support local artists by giving them space to display their work, which adds a unique, personal touch,” he mentions.

The cafe doesn’t just impress with its aesthetics; its menu is a dream for food lovers. With options ranging from delicious sandwiches, burgers and savoury croissants, to thick, refreshing smoothies and juices, there’s something for everyone.

What's better is that most of the ingredients are sourced locally from around Panjim.

“A lot of what’s on the menu is inspired by healthy eating. We aim to promote sustainability while supporting local vendors, so it’s a win-win for everyone,” he continues.

“Since we’re just getting started here in Panjim, our menu is a little limited at the moment. But, once we’re fully up and running, we’ll be offering around 200 items, just like we do at our other seven outlets across North Goa,” he says as he compares the menu with the other Artjuna outlets.

Artjuna’s roots in breakfast and brunch are strong, offering a family-friendly environment with plenty of space for large groups, and even a kid-friendly vibe.

There's more to look forward to in the Panjim branch. “Once we’ve been open for about six months, we’ll be introducing a rooftop seating area for a stunning sundowner experience right in the heart of the city. We’ll also be hosting events, just like we do in Anjuna. These won’t be loud parties, but more relaxed gatherings that match the vibe of Panjim,” he informs.

And, here’s the cherry on the cake — Artjuna Panjim doubles as a coworking space.

Samuel puts it best when he says, “Why settle for a boring, corporate meeting room when you can enjoy your workday in a cafe, sipping coffee and munching on something delicious? It’s the perfect setting to brighten up any meeting.”

So, the next time you find yourself strolling along 18th June Road in Panjim, keep an eye out for a little red postbox near Wellness Pharmacy. Look up, and you’ll spot the cheerful sign that says, 'Start your day with a smile' —your personal invitation to discover Cafe Artjuna Panjim.
