CREATIVE SCIENCE WORKSHOP
As part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Goa Science Centre and Planetarium, Miramar, along with the Ministry of Culture presents a ‘Creative Science Workshop’ at the Goa Science Centre, Miramar, from April 22 to 26.
Packed with fun and hands on experience, the session will also feature innovative experiments, interesting projects and interactive exhibits.
The schedule of workshops is as follows:

The Goa Science Centre & Planetarium, Miramar, Panjim, was set up in 2001, and is a unit of the National Council of Science Museums.
It is also a joint project of India's National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) and Goa’s Department of Science Technology & Environment.

DANCE WITH AWARENESS
Here’s a workshop for those who, not just love dancing, but want to do it right. FAWEA & Dinesh present ‘Dance with Awareness’, a complimentary body technique workshop, featuring Polina and Tara on April 17, 2024 at Antisocial, Morjim.
Interested participants do not require a partner to join the workshop.
The 60-minute session on body technique will focus on proper body posture and alignment while dancing, body isolations through chest and hip opening exercises, understanding the spine and preventing lower back pain and injury.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS
Tara has Indo-Caribbean roots, and has been dancing the Merengue since she was a child.
A traditional Mysore style Ashtanga yoga teacher, she specialises in body alignment and healing lower back pain through spinal work, and is also passionate about Salsa Cubana and Kizomba.
Polina, a Bachata and Kizomba dancer, is trained in yoga and sports, and is a personal trainer and yoga teacher.
