TAI CHI
The Space, Siolim, is organising a free Tai Chi session on January 26, 2024. The event is open to anyone in the age group of 15 years and above.
Tai Chi is a relaxing form of martial arts, which requires no equipment, and can be done indoors or outdoors.
This martial art helps improve balance and lower stress levels, among other health benefits, and is beneficial to senior citizens since it is a mild form of exercise.
Regular Tai Chi sessions will be held at The Space from February 2024.

ECOLOGICAL STORYTELLING
Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts, Altinho, Panjim, presents an evening of storytelling on the tropics and climate histories through readings and presentation with Swiss resident artists Badel/ Sarbach on January 26, 2024.
During their 2-month residency at Sunaparanta’s Artist in Residency - Lab (AIR-L), the artist duo, Badel / Sarbach have been exploring ‘Life as an Event’ artistically and philosophically.
They have also explored the relationship between the animated and the unanimated and how it can be explored and experienced in a performative way.

CHOIR TEACHERS WORKSHOP
Child's Play (India) Foundation is organising a workshop for choir leaders on January 26, 2024, led by noted choral conductor from Sweden, Marie Bejstam.
The workshop is open to anyone who already leads a choir (school, church etc) or is interested in learning how to be a future choir leader.
At the workshop, participants will learn different ways of conducting a choir, secrets of conducting, music games for warm-ups and lots of other techniques which will take a choir to another level.
