Intellectual & bestselling author Gurcharan Das to speak at ICG

Students from leading educational institutions in Goa have been invited to attend

Noted public intellectual Gurcharan Das will speak on the topic “Don’t just make a living, make a life” at the International Centre Goa (ICG) on August 22, 2023.

He will be speaking between 10.30 am and 12 noon at the Abolim hall of ICG. The event is open and free to the public. This event has been jointly organised by the Rajasthan-based organisation Bika Utsav and the ICG.

Addressing a media conference in the city on Friday, Anil Gupta, the founder of Bika Utsav, said, “Gurcharan Das is one of India’s leading intellectuals, a respected author and a corporate guru. It will be a pleasure to listen to him.”

We have invited students from leading educational institutions in Goa to listen to Mr Das. I am sure the next generation will benefit from his wisdom.

Gurcharan Das is a bestselling author and public intellectual known for a much-acclaimed trilogy on the classical Indian goals for life: India Unbound, The Difficulty of Being Good and Kama: The Riddle of Desire.

His other books include India Grows at Night: A Liberal Case for a Strong State, A Fine Family (a novel), The Elephant Paradigm (a book of essays) and Three Plays (an anthology). He is editing for Penguin a 15-volume history, The Story of Indian Business.
