ATTEND NACHNEACHEM FEST
As part of the International Year of Millet-2023, the Directorate of Agriculture, Government of Goa, is organising Nachneachem Fest at the Duler agriculture farm, Mapusa, on March 12, 2023, from 11 am to 5 pm.
The curators of the festival are Marius Fernandes and Dr Gwendolyn De Ornelas.
The Nachnneachem fest will focus on Ragi-Millet and its uses and benefits.
During the fest there will be food, music, dance, workshops, talks, etc.
The idea behind United Nations declaring 2023 as the International Year of Millet is to understand how millets can prove to be an affordable and nutritious option and to sketch ways to scale-up their cultivation.
