In fact, the best part about this Fort Aguada trek is that it takes place early in the morning so that participants will be spared the scorching summer sun beating down upon them.

The morning trek will begin at 6.30 am and wind up by 10.30 am. There will be no special buses to the venue.

Participants will have to travel in their own vehicles, and report to the starting point – the gate of the new lighthouse at Fort Aguada – well on time as the trekking journey will set off at 6.30 am.

At approx 3.15 km, the distance to be covered on foot is not too much, and is actually rather enjoyable in the cool breeze of the early morn.
