Vroom vroom! The 11th edition of India Bike Week has officially begun in Goa!

Yesterday, the Vagator hilltop welcomed bike riders from different corners of India and abroad. The roar of the bikes could be heard all day long as bikers made their way to the IBW venue.

Day 1 of the most-waited biking festivals was nothing short of an adrenaline pumping experience. Fans of bikes and riding gathered atop to celebrate this common connection with one another and spread the joy of riding in Goa.

ENDING STEREOTYPES

Day 1 of IBW was also groundbreaking for ending all stereotypes with an interesting segment 'The Power of an Extra Chromosome ft Art of My Optimus - Jijo' which spread awareness regarding people with special needs.

The session discussed the life and achievements of Jijo Das, the only motorsport photographer at IBW with Down syndrome.

"This is a pivotal moment in history with India Bike Week recognising someone with Down syndrome, right here in India. It speaks volumes of where, as a nation, we have progressed," said Jijo's brother, who accompanied him on stage.

BIKES, STUNTS AND FESTS

Every corner of the venue displayed one-of-a-kind customised motorcycles. Additionally, the organisers revealed a newly-customised bike for those participating in the Harley Davidson Flat Track Race.

They also announced exciting news for crazy car fans – the launch of India’s Motoring Festival, presented by Generation Speed, slated to be held in February 2025.

An extraordinary sense of exhilaration infused the air, intensified by the high-pitched sound of engines as the bikers throttled around the muddy hilltop.

One can't help but be in awe of stunt riders taking a leap of faith into the air against the perfect backdrop of a colourful rainbow in the sky, one of them being India's top stunt riding team, the fearless Ghost Ryderz who showcased some of the most jaw-dropping stunts.
