BJP Youth Leader Gajanan Tilve joins Congress

Tilve alleged that the BJP has no principles left in the party and could go to any lengths to gain power.

BJP's national executive member of the Yuva Morcha, Gajanan Tilve, from Siolim, joined the Congress party on Sunday, January 9, in Panjim.

Tilve joined the Congress in the presence of leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat, Goa in-charge Dinesh Gundu Rao and Youth Congress President Varad Mhardolkar.

Tilve alleged that the BJP has no principles left in the party and could go to any lengths to gain power.

BJP's aim is to gain power by any means and party has now changed. So I have decided to leave to join Congress. The BJP party has betrayed its loyal people by taking in people who once bad mouthed the BJP and CM Sawant. I hope that the Congress wins by a majority and forms a Government".

He also mentioned that the Siolim constituency is lagging behind and he hopes that the Congress can help develop the Siolim constituency.

Dinesh Gundu Rai said that entry of Tilve would strengthen the party.

"BJP has failed all over India and Goa and has no principles, no morals, and is the most corrupt government," Rao said.

"It is bad thing for the young people who have to pay for jobs. The people will reject the BJP in the Assembly elections, Only Congress can give a stable government and I am happy that young leaders are aware of politics and are joining the Congress," he added.Congress, " Rao said.

Digambar Kamat said, "We welcome Gajanan Tilve and all his supporters to the Congress party." The youth has come to know that BJP has killed democracy and hence they are joining the Congress.

Varad Mardolkar congratulated Tilve on joining the Congress and said that the BJP has played with the future of the youth by selling jobs.

Along with Gajanan Tilve, Sanket Parsekar, Vinay Waingankar, Om Chodankar, Amit Naik, Zion Dias, Basil Braganza, Nilesh Dhargalkar, Prateek Naik and Neelkanth Naik have also joined the Congress party.
