Chief Minister Pramod Sawant felicitated Anil Raghuveer Chodankar with Outstanding Social Worker award during the function organised by Goa government for the Goa's 60th Liberation Day in Panaji.
Anil Chodankar is a senior social activist from Vasco and received this award in view of his social work in the teaching profession as well as his work towards the society in other fields.
The Outstanding Social Worker award is selected by the Social Welfare Department of the Government of Goa.
The award is given by the department every year on the occasion of Liberation Day by Chief Minister.
On the occasion of Liberation Day, the programme was organized at Campal Parade Ground in Panaji.
