Goa reported 42 new Covid-19 cases and one death on Friday, taking state's Covid-19 tally to 1,79,088 and death toll to 3,385.
With 2,646 samples being examined in the last 24 hours, the number of tests in Goa went up to 15,53,433. The daily positivity rate in the state is about 1.5 per cent.
With 28 people getting discharged from the hospital yesterday, the number active cases in Goa is 380.
Panaji reported nine cases in last 35 hours while Margao recorded eight cases.
On vaccination front, 3,583 people were vaccinated in the last 24 hours.
