Before the screening commenced, the audience was treated to a mesmerising performance of kathak, a traditional Indian classical dance form. The grace and beauty of this art form served as a testament to the intrinsic harmony between humans and their environment.

The presence of Nilesh Cabral, the environment minister of Goa, as the chief guest, further added to the festival's significance. Cabral's impassioned address emphasised the collective responsibility of individuals to protect and preserve the environment.
