Goa's looking good in new 'Har Ghar Tiranga' anthem video
In order to evoke a sense of patriotism among the citizens of the country, as India marches into the 75th year of independence, a new anthem titled, Har Ghar Tiranga, was recently posted by the Ministry of Culture. It features Goa and other states of India, and showcases people hoisting the Indian tricolour in their homes.
The anthem showcases the quaint red and white houses in the Latin Quarter of Panjim, Fontainhas, which was declared a UNSECO Heritage Zone in 1984. The red and white house is iconic in the area and has also appeared in many films.
In the anthem, people are seen standing in the balcony as flags flutter in the background. In the 4.58 minute video, this scene appears in the 2.11th minute.
The anthem, Har Ghar Tiranga, also features popular personalities and celebrities from the country, like Amitabh Bachchan, Virat Kohli, Tiger Shroff, Prabhas, Anushka Sharma, Neeraj Chopra, Jackie and Tiger Shroff, Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Mary Kom, Mithali Raj, Asha Bhoshle, Sonu Nigam, and others.
The anthem features iconic places in India, and places of heritage importance, as well as various other scenic locations across the country.
The anthem was produced after the Har Ghar Tiranga national campaign, under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, was launched to encourage people to hoist the Indian flag in their homes on the occasion of 75 years of India's Independence.
