Anjuna: Anjuna police arrested four people for creating noise pollution in the area by organizing a loud music party. The arrested persons include Harshit Kantaria, a native of Mumbai, as well as Alaino Pereira and Farid Khan, from Vagator, and Karang Narang, a native of Delhi.

According to the Anjuna Police, they received a call at 7 am on Monday about a loud music party at a beach club in Vagator in Vagator. A police team led by DYSP Uday Parab rushed to the spot and arrested the organisers. Meanwhile, police also seized musical instruments and speakers from the club.

All four accused were arrested for violating Section 15 of the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules 2000 and the Environment (Protection) Act 1986. Mhapsa SDPO Uday Parab is investigating the matter.
