Nine more COVID-19 patients cured in Goa

PANAJI: Director of Health Services on Tuesday said that nine more COVID-19 patients in the State have cured. No new positive cases of COVID-19 were reported on Tuesday.

As per the media bulletin issued by DHS, Goa has 67 confirmed cases of COVID-19, of which 28 have recovered and 39 are active cases.

"Nine more COVID-19 patients are currently and are under quarantine at Acron Seaway Resort, Candolim," stated the bulletin issued by DHS.

DHS said that 178 people were put under home quarantine (interstate domestic travellers) on Tuesday, while 255 travellers were put under facility quarantine. Additionally, six suspects have been put under hospital isolation.

"Out of 565 samples tested, 536 are negative and 29 reports awaited," said DHS in the bulletin.

Presently, there are 10 patients in isolation wards and 647 people have been quarantined at various residencies and hotels.
