Mormugao Municipal Council Chairperson Leo Rodrigues and Councillor Shami Salkar held an inspection of the ongoing renovation of the two municipal gardens in Vasco.
Councillor Shami Salkar told reporters that the two gardens from Vasco would receive a facelift shortly and the renovation will be done by the NRB (Bandekar) Group.
She further said that these gardens would be fenced properly with compound walls, proper illumination and will even be made wheelchair accessible so that elderly people can visit them.
MMC Chairperson Leo Rodrigues said that all the necessary permissions have been given to the group that is developing these gardens under CSR activity. He also urged people to come forward and contribute in developing the city of Vasco.
