Dempo Sports Club clobber Youth Club Manora 4-0 at Duler Stadium in the Goa Pro League on Thursday.

The Golden Eagles are on the top of the Goa Pro League with 13 points.

Dempo Club was in complete control from the opening whistle. Golden Eagles' Klusner Pereira took a long-distance shot and narrowly missed the target. Dempo dad another chance as Desmon Pereira's strike hit the crossbar and rebound away.

The Golden Eagles were rewarded for their aggressive play as Suraj Hadkonkar scored in the 28th minute. Pedro Gonsalves found Hadkonkar with the perfect through ball as Suraj put Dempo ahead 1-0.

In the second half, Suraj once again capitalized on the Manora defence, scoring the second Dempo goal in the 46th minute. Six minutes later, Pedro scored his first, tripling the Dempo lead. Pedro Gonsalves took a powerful shot and went past the Manora keeper Tarique like a tracer bullet.

At the 87th mark, substitute Latesh Mandrekar hit the final in the coffin as he placed Richard Cardoz’s rebound into the goal, giving the Golden Eagles a 4-0 victory.
