

The Goa Cricket Association (GCA) has signed Mumbai’s Shubham Ranjane and Vidarbha's Shrikant Wagh for the upcoming domestic cricket season. Both players are part of the team through the guest player quota implemented by the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI), where three visiting players can be included in the team for a season. Mumbai wicketkeeper-batsman Eknath Kerkar, who also played last season, is the third guest cricketer in the team.
Goa's Senior Cricket Association will play Ranji Trophy, Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20 and Vijay Hazare Trophy ODI cricket next season. The team will travel to Puducherry on Friday, August 20, 2021, for pre-season practice.
Shrikant Wagh is 32 years old, the left-arm fast bowler from Vidarbha. He has played for Pune Warriors in the IPL. For Vidarbha and Central Division, he has taken 161 wickets in 64 first-class matches, taking five-wicket hauls on four occasions. Wagh is also a handy batsman scoring 1646 runs, with one century and five fifties. He has also played for India A.
Shubham Ranjane, 27, who played for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy, is an all-rounder. He played his last first-class match for Mumbai in February 2020. He has taken five wickets in 12 first-class matches and scored 513 runs with the help of four fifties in his brief career. Ranjane last played for Mumbai on 11 January 2021 in a T20 tournament.
