The match between Jamshedpur FC vs Mumbai City has been called off according to the ISL committee on Thursday. The game scheduled for 21 January has been postponed citing the unavailability of Jamshedpur FC players due to an increased number of Covid-19 cases.

The League issued a statement on 20 January addressing the postponement of the game. The statement said," Hero Indian Super League (ISL) Match No. 67 between Jamshedpur FC and Mumbai City FC scheduled for Friday, 21 January 2022, at Athletic Stadium, Bambolim, stands postponed. The decision was taken considering advice from the League's medical team on Jamshedpur FC's inability to safely field a team and prepare for the match."

Jamshedpur FC vs Mumbai City FC will be the sixth postponed game in the 2021-22 ISL season. ATK Mohan Bagan vs Kerala Blasters was cancelled. Similarly, ATK Mohan Bagan vs Bengaluru FC and Jamshedpur FC vs Hyderabad FC were called off. On Sunday, the match between Kerala Blasters FC and Mumbai City FC was also postponed.
