Rushali Yadav and Harsh Arora found love on the sets of Splitsvilla X5, got engaged and headed to Goa for some 'us' time. And what did they do in Goa? Chillout, relax and hit the clubs, absolutely feeling and loving the Goa vibe.

Harsh, relaxing on a beach bed in Anjuna, sipping watermelon juice, says, “I just wanted to take a break with Rushali, somewhere we could relax, vibe and make new memories. Goa had that perfect mix of fun, beaches and romantic vibes. It felt like the ideal first trip after our engagement.”

This being the couple's first trip together, Harsh says, "Things have definitely deepened between us. What started off as a spark in Splitsvilla has grown into real love and understanding."

He adds, "Being engaged to Rushali feels surreal. We’ve seen each other through so much, and now it’s about building our future together, one trip and one moment at a time."

EXPLORE GOA'S BEAUTY

But first, the trip. “We definitely had a few spots on our list — Baga Beach, of course, and we hit some iconic clubs in North Goa. We also explored places like Anjuna, Candolim and did a bit of sightseeing in Old Goa. Each place had its own vibe, and we just went with the flow.”

We went to some of the most happening clubs. The music, the crowd, the energy — it was everything you'd expect from Goa. It was fun to just let go and dance the night away with Rushali, definitely a core memory.

For the two lovebirds, a typical day was very relaxed. “Our mornings were slow, followed by beachside breakfasts, then exploring a new place or just chilling by the sea." says Harsh.

"Afternoons were usually hot, so we’d relax indoors or grab a drink. Nights were for beach parties or clubbing — it was non-stop energy and pure fun,” he adds.

BEACH TIME

Of all their experiences, it was Anjuna which definitely stood out for the two. “It had this raw, laid-back vibe. The sunset there was insane, and the flea market gave it this super local feel. Baga Beach was full of energy — music, people and crazy water sports,” says Rushali.

Harsh quickly adds, “We went to some of the most happening clubs. The music, the crowd, the energy — it was everything you'd expect from Goa. It was fun to just let go and dance the night away with Rushali, definitely a core memory.”

FOODIE PARADISE

When it comes to Goan food, you can’t miss the Xacuti. This is what Rushali loved on her trip here. “The food was fire! We tried a bunch of Goan dishes — seafood was obviously the highlight. The prawn curry, Xacuti and bebinca for dessert were next-level. If you're in Goa, you have to try the local thalis too — so flavourful!"

"Next time, I’d love to explore South Goa more — maybe do a more relaxed, offbeat version of the trip. This time, it was all about celebration and energy,” says Rushali.

GOAN SOUVENIRS TO TAKE HOME

No Goa trip ends without buying some cool accessories at flea markets and local stalls and the two did walk up to some stalls and pick up a few accessories, beachwear and souvenirs as mementos of their Goa visit.

So, what conclusion did they reach about souvenir shopping in Goa? “Goa has this unique Boho vibe in its markets, it’s hard to walk out empty-handed,” smiles Rushali as she signs out.
