INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ST FRANCIS XAVIER

St Xavier's College, Mapusa, is organising an international conference on St Francis Xavier, ‘Pan Asian Heritage of St Francis Xavier: Between Memories and Contemporary Appropriations’ in collaboration with Rosary College of Commerce & Arts, Navelim, and the Initiative for the Study of Asian Catholics (ISAC), Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore.

This conference will explore the historical and sociological impact of St Francis Xavier where he lived and worked in Asia.

Renowned scholars from across Asia will present papers in history, sociology, theology, literature and cultural studies.

The conference is open to professors, research scholars, faculty members and students from various disciplines.
