With its air-conditioned, sound-proof ballroom and modern amenities, the venue, The Golden Orchid, ensures a delightful blend of comfort and excitement.

Since its inception in 2007, the dance has grown in scale and significance, and the managing committee, comprising St Britto’s alumni throughout the decades, combines youthful enthusiasm with seasoned wisdom to keep the event vibrant and meaningful year after year.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT AT THE DANCE

“This year’s celebration blends the charm of tradition with a vibrant, modern vibe,” says treasurer of the OBA, Eldon Barros, who goes on to explain what one can expect at the dine and dance event.

The evening will begin with a family-friendly atmosphere where kids and parents alike can bond over great food and soothing music. As the night progresses, the venue will transform into a dynamic party space for young revellers, complete with dazzling lights and electrifying tunes.

With ample parking and a cosy, comfortable ambience, the Golden Orchid will ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.

Music lies at the heart of Sleigh Bells, and this year’s line-up is nothing short of spectacular. The event will begin with soulful ballroom classics, gradually evolving into foot-tapping beats to keep the crowd energised all night.

“Performances by Goa’s iconic bands, Uzo and Music Fever, alongside DJ Wency, promise a seamless musical journey,” shares Rohan Nazareth, vice president of the OBA.

So, whether you’re waltzing across the floor or grooving to upbeat tracks, the music caters to every mood and moment.

FAMILY-FRIENDLY FUN & EXCITING CONTESTS

Sleigh Bells is a celebration for all the family. Children aged 12 and below can enjoy free entry, making this event a perfect outing for families.

Adding to the excitement, there will be various contests, including prizes for the best dancing couple and the best-dressed guest, encouraging everyone to bring their A-game to the dance floor, reveals Eldon.
