For many years, Goa has been the perfect canvas for the Serendipity Arts Festival and this year, too, the festival is all set to make its way back to Goa. The fifth edition of the festival is slated to be held from December 15, 2022 to December 23, 2022, in Panjim, Goa.
While the idea of the Serendipity Arts Festival remains the same, the outlook and approach to it is different this year. The festival is expected to be more multi and trans-disciplinary, free flowing and collaborative this time round.

The organisers plan on expanding the concept of community, and looks forward to creating a series of engaging, programmes for festival visitors.
The Serendipity Arts Festival will be bringing together artists, curators, conversations and creative collaborations from across South Asia and the globe to celebrate life.

Speaking about the festival, Director, Serendipity Arts Foundation & Festival, Smriti Rajgarhia said, “We are delighted to let everyone know that we will be back in Goa to celebrate and host the much overdue 5th edition of the festival in Panjim with our growing universe of artists, collaborators and friends.”
“The projects, this year, are going to have a greater degree of multi-media adaptability. Alongside, our public engagement systems and safety standards are going to set new benchmarks for events and festivals, such as ours, in a post-pandemic world,” she added.
The last two editions
Due to the pandemic, the last two editions of the festival were held virtually, and during this time, the festival hosted and introduced artists and art forms to a new form of ideas and possibilities; some of which will be continued in December 2022.
About the festival
Being one of the most popular multi-disciplinary arts festivals, one can find various areas of arts explored, spanning from visual to performing to culinary arts, through its intensive programme of exhibitions and performances.
The festival is designed to bring in various elements of arts that includes music, dance, visual arts, craft, photography, film and theatre. At the same time the festival brings forth issues which touch upon social issues such as arts education and pedagogy, cultural patronage, interdisciplinary discourse and accessibility to the arts.
