Goa’s monsoon revelry is about to hit a new high as Bhizya Mare 4.0, the fourth edition of the state’s most anticipated rain dance party, takes over Batim village in Tiswadi taluka this Sunday, June 22.
Organised by Party Patrao a team of six people, this event has quickly earned its place as the biggest monsoon season party in Goa’s San André constituency, but notably, without the use of any biblical references.
“This is one of the only parties in Goa at this time of year that doesn’t ride on the name of Sao Joao,” explains Suncy Vas, one of the six-member organising team that forms Party Patrao.
“We wanted a name that celebrates the spirit of fun and rain, not one borrowed from religious observances. Bhizya Mare is purely a monsoon bash, it is more about music, joy, freedom and fun.”

MUSICAL LINE-UP AND ENTERTAINMENT
The stage is set for a high-energy line-up of performers. Headlining the event is the immensely popular Goan band, Seven Notes, joined by newly formed bands Mix Magic and Black Tie.
As the evening rolls on, the stage will shift into party mode with a roster of DJs including Ryan Nogar, an internationally renowned artist, along with DJ Naveen, Salvino Miranda, DJ Mark and DJ Almix. The event will be hosted by the irrepressible MC Sammy, known for his humorous flair and electric stage presence.
Bhizya Mare 4.0 will kick off at 3 pm and go on until late, in sync with legal regulations.
THOUGHTFUL ADDITIONS
The venue, Joy N Celebrations, sits atop a hill in Batim, offering scenic views and ample open space to accommodate the expected crowd of 3,500-plus attendees.
This year’s edition brings several new additions. “We’ve set up two full-fledged bars, one in the regular area and another closer to the dancefloor for quick access,” Vas says.
“To reduce rush and give people variety, we’ll also have four food stalls, including one run by a local self-help group,” he informs.
The menu includes chicken shawarma, lollipops with fries, rice bowls, and Goan snacks. “We’re offering the self-help group a stall at nearly 40 per cent discount, to encourage their participation,” Vas adds.
SAFETY, COMFORT & THE SPIRIT OF CELEBRATION
Although the venue features two infinity pools, these will remain closed during the event for safety reasons. “With a crowd this size, it’s better to be cautious,” Vas notes. Security will be handled by professional bouncers.
To cater to families and those looking for a more relaxed experience, there will be VIP and Gold seating options under large canopies. “There’s enough space for everyone, from those who want to go all-out dancing to those who prefer to sit and enjoy with friends,” says Vas.

It goes without saying, Bhizya Mare is the most-awaited party offering a bold, fresh take on monsoon festivities in Goa. It's a celebration that’s loud in joy, rich in rhythm, and high on fun.
