Offering a culinary experience centred around Southeast Asian cuisine, the Ramens, Donburi and More Festival at Fortune Miramar this February features a diverse selection of rich and savoury ramens and donburi, complemented by a curated assortment of appetisers, sides and desserts.
With key dates like the Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day falling within the festival's duration, the event is a perfect mix of cultural celebrations and delicious dishes.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the festival, the management team shared that it was driven by a growing love for Southeast Asian cuisine and the desire to bring a hawker market experience to Goa. “The festival is inspired by Southeast Asian food, which is not just about taste, it’s about tradition, craftsmanship, and comfort,” they added.
Known for their food, service, innovation and value for money, Fortune Miramar regularly hosts food festivals. Such events give their chefs the opportunity to showcase their culinary expertise, while also giving guests the chance to taste and experience flavours from across the world.
After organising and receiving much love for their the ramen festival over the past few years, this year’s edition has been made even more exciting with the addition of Japanese specialty rice bowls, Donburi, featuring a variety of delicious ingredients.
The culinary offerings showcase a vibrant array of Southeast Asian street food, inspired by the flavours commonly found in the bustling streets of these countries. Guests can select from a variety of noodle-based ramen preparations, including Miso Ramen, Wonton Ramen, and Tan Tan Men Ramen, and rice based Donburi options such as Gyudon and Oyakadon.
A variety of appetisers and side dishes are also available, including Korean Cream Buns and Yakitori, while dessert selections feature the signature Japanese Cheesecake. The event will be held during lunch and dinner hours only, with guests having the option to dine in or take away. Furthermore, guests are invited to customise their dishes to suit their preference.
Sharing his love for ramen, Chef William Dias at the restaurant said, “Ramen is more than just a dish—it’s a warm embrace in a bowl. Each ingredient tells a story, from the slow-simmered broth to the perfectly-cooked noodles.” He added, “Through the festival, we want to bring the true essence of Southeast Asian comfort food to guests, offering them a taste of tradition, authenticity, and culinary artistry.”
