The screening will take place on June 6, 2024, at the Maquinez Palace in Panjim. Running for 90 minutes, the film will be presented with English subtitles.

The film is set in real time where Cléo (Corinne Marchand) has to wait for the test results of her biopsy. She walks around the streets of Paris, which is stunningly captured by Varda.

The film deals with various themes like existentialism and mortality from a strong feminine viewpoint.

Cléo from 5 to 7 was Varda's second feature and she was one of the pioneers of the French new wave, and the only woman, among other illustrious male directors.

It wasn't long before she cemented her place as one of the all-time greats in cinema.
