The winter season is on its way out, and soon summer will relentlessly begin knocking on our doors again and the need to find places to make the temperatures bearable will set in in. But lucky for us, the perennial waterfalls deep inside Goa's wildlife sanctuaries call out.

Keeping this in mind, Eco Treks has organised a moderate to easy intensity trek to Savari waterfall that is located inside the Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary in the Sanguem taluka. The trek will take place on February 25, 2024.

Trekking in the wild in summer is one of the best ways to connect with nature.

The Savari waterfall, which mesmerizes nature lovers, is a beautiful
spot in Netravali sanctuary and members of Eco treks are revisiting it after approximately six years, making the trek all the more memorable.

GIFTS FROM NETRAVALI
The village of Neturli has three waterfalls, namely Mainapi, Sonal and
Savari. These three perennial waterfalls are the gifts from the
Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary.

These waterfalls are the main feeders of the Netravali river, which
eventually joins the Zuari river. The rivulet of the Savari waterfall
originates on the Sanguem-Canacona border, on the Ravon dongor, which
lies in between the Netravali and Cotigao wildlife sanctuaries.

Neturli or Netravali in Sanguem taluka is a pristine village surrounded by the lush green mountain ranges of the Sahyadri, in one of the remotest corners of Goa. It is rich in biological and ecological heritage.

Blessed with perennial sources of water like springs, tanks and waterfalls, Neturli is gloriously green.
