President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, to visit Goa today

The hon President of India, Ram Nath Kovind, will be on a two-day visit to Goa from Tuesday. The President will arrive at Goa’s Dabolim Airport in the evening of Tuesday, June 14, 2022.

On Wednesday morning, he will lay the foundation stone of the new Raj Bhavan at Dona Paula. Goa Chief Minister, Pramod Sawant, and Governor, PS Sreedharan Pillai, will also be present on the occasion.

President Kovind is on a three-day visit to Karnataka and Goa, from June 13 to June 15. On the first day of his trip, on June 13, 2022, he addressed the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of Rashtriya Military School, Bengaluru. On June 14, 2022, he will grace the Lokarpana ceremony of Sri Rajadhiraja Govinda Temple at Vaikuntha Hill, Vasanthapura, Bengaluru.

After wrapping up his Karnataka visit, he will arrive in Goa this evening, and will leave the state on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.

Meanwhile, President Ram Nath Kovind's term ends on July 24, 2022. The elections for the next President of India will be held on July 18, 2022 and counting, if required, will be held three days later.
