Sankhale Shree 2023 showcases Goa’s best bodybuilders
The Sankhale Shree 2023, a state-level bodybuilding competition, was organised by the Energise Friend Circle and Yuva De Sankhale and was held on March 18, 2023, at Multipurpose Hall, Sanquelim, Goa.
This event was conducted by the Goa Body Builders Association (GBBA) affiliated unit of the Indian Body Building Federation (IBBF). This bodybuilding championship was held in 6 categories, that is 55 kg, 60 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg, 75 kg and above 75 kg. The men's physique championship was held in an open category.
According to Mohiz Khan, the organising secretary of GBBA, the competition commenced with an inauguration ceremony. The dignitaries present for the competition were the vice president of GBBA Sanket Naik Mule, Mohiz Khan, Mangaldas Naik, Riyaz Sayyed, Sachin Salekar, Adv Vinay Patkar, Santosh Mapsekar, Satya Naik and others.
The entire event was hosted by Ravi Dessai. The live telecast of this competition was streamed on YouTube and Facebook during the competition.
A huge crowd was present and witnessed the grand event of Sankhale Shree 2023. The panel of judges present for the competition were Mahendra Dessai, Vivek Faldessai, Viresh Hiremath, Umesh Amerkar, and the stage marshal Caitan Dias. A total of 73 athletes participated in the championship.
