THE STORYLINE

Doming and Dorotin are a childless couple. They pick up some guts and adopt Ruzarin’s illegitimate child, Jennifer (Jennifer), who unfortunately is born out of wedlock.

Even though Jennifer is a differently-abled child, Doming and Dorotin do not neglect her. Instead, the couple showers lots of love on her. Jennifer also finds the required love, care and attention at Gracias Home, a shelter for the disabled, run by Sir Mario (Joe de Areal).

Gracias Home has people with different disabilities. There’s Meena (Meena Goes), who’s born deaf and Elias (Elias), who is born lame. There is Jose (Jose), who is blind from birth, and Tony (Tony), who is dumb. But, all the inmates, though differently-abled, care for each other and grow in each other’s support.

Ruzarin carries a wicked mind and always speaks ill about the inmates in Gracias Home. He refuses to accept the fact that Jennifer is his illegitimate child, and his hurtful words serve are offensive to all those residing in Gracias Home.

BEHIND THE TIATR

Lenten show Mhaka Nitoll Kor throws light on different limbs of a human being. The message is loud and clear. We need to respect the organs of our body and glorify God through our sincere services.

The artistes on stage gave an excellent presentation. Two artistes, among them all, stand out in their performances. Rosario Botelho excels in his negative role, while Jennifer as a differently-abled child does justice to her role.
