With just days until Carnival kicks off in Goa, another exciting home-grown event is set to spice up the capital city Panjim.
Featuring expertly curated cocktails, lip-smacking food and top-notch live music, the Great Cocktail Carnival is set to give the perfect kickstart to the legendary Goa Carnaval.
Organised by Bullseye Entertainment, the makers of Goa’s home-brewed festival Oktoberfest Goa, the event will be held across two days on February 15 and 16, 2025 at Inox Courtyard, Panjim, bringing forth an amazing bartending flair and the growing cocktail culture in the country.
At its inaugural edition, the event will feature cocktails with a variety of flavours and spirits, food by talented Goan chefs, a chance for attendees to explore a pop-up corner for shopping and engagement, an experience zone filled with fun activities and games and live music to make the evening truly magical.
“It was not inspired by the Goa Carnival, but we do believe the two have a lot in common,” says Clarence Fernandes, Creative Head at Bullseye Entertainment.
He adds, “Both Carnival and cocktails are full of life, flavour, showcase various skills and spread cheer, and that is exactly what we're looking to do with the Great Cocktail Carnival.”
If you're a music lover, this is an event you simply can't miss. Local favourite bands like Raagas2Riches, 24k India, Forefront, Lavina & the Ensemble will be performing along with two headliners, on each day.
“We’re super excited to have Tsumyoki, our very own Goan superstar, who has been making waves in the music industry in India and across the globe. Along with him, we will also be hosting one of India’s most loved and nostalgic artistes, Bombay Vikings on day two,” shares Clarence.
A cocktail festival wouldn’t be complete without cocktails, and this event will have plenty of them. With close to 20 brands on board, be sure to sip some unique cocktails specially curated for the festival.
Whether seasonal or exclusively curated, you can be part of the wonderful world of cocktails and cocktail-making.
What makes the festival more special is that it's home grown – it’s organised and executed by Goans, themselves.
Grateful for the immense support and love by the people of Goa for these festivals, Clarence says, “We are proud to be able to host such a festival for the people of Goa, and also that the festival gives so many local Goan businesses a chance to showcase their products, their skills, their art and their efforts.”
So, if you're up for some fun, great music, and amazing cocktails, make sure to head over to the Great Cocktail Festival. Don't miss out!
