PIANO RECITAL @ CALANGUTE

The Art Chamber, Calangute, presents a piano recital featuring the dean of the Moscow Conservatory, Andrey Pisarev; and assistant professor of the Moscow Conservatory, Ivan Koshcheev, on March 2, 2024.

Pisarev has won several competitions worldwide, including the ‘International Mozart’ Competition, and his renditions of Chopin, Liszt, Schumann and Debussy are exceptional.

Pisarev’s junior, Ivan Koshcheev, has won laurels at competitions in Germany, Bulgaria, St Petersburg and Moscow, and was the winner of the IAA piano competition in France and Switzerland. While he has performed across the globe, this will be his debut in India.

Both pianists will perform the works of Mozart, Schubert, De Falla and Brahms.

Carpe Diem and Metamorphosis Theatre & Films will present ‘The Sacred Bride’, a 70-minute performance poetry on March 3, 2024.

It has been designed and directed by co-founder and head of St Andrew's Centre for Philosophy & Performing Arts, Omkar Bhatkar, and will feature the poems of Janabai, Rumi, St Theresa of Avila and Surdas.

St Andrew’s Centre for Philosophy and Performing Arts comprises academicians, research scholars, students, culture enthusiasts, artists and community members working in a collaborative environment to create rich, learning and teaching experiences in the field of art, literature and performing arts.

The centre is the brainchild of Fr Magi Murzello and Dr Omkar Bhatkar.
