If you’re dreaming of a Himalayan escape this Independence Day long weekend, here’s your chance. Trekkers and Clickers Club (TCC) Goa is taking a curated batch of 25 nature lovers to the Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib from August 13 to 19, 2025.

Tucked away in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district, the Valley of Flowers is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its vibrant alpine meadows that bloom during the monsoon.

Visitors will witness a natural spectacle of blue poppies, marigolds, anemones, and a sea of other wildflowers set against snow-capped Himalayan peaks and glacial streams.

As part of the itinerary, the group will also trek to Hemkund Sahib, the world’s highest Gurudwara, located at an altitude of 14,100 feet. Nestled beside a pristine glacial lake and surrounded by seven towering mountains, Hemkund offers not only breathtaking views but also a deeply spiritual experience.

As part of the itinerary, the group will also trek to Hemkund Sahib, the world’s highest Gurudwara, located at an altitude of 14,100 feet.

Whether it’s the fresh mountain air or the peaceful prayers echoing through the valley, the setting leaves a lasting impression. The trek is ideal for beginners, families, and nature lovers aged 9 and above, with a difficulty level rated as easy to moderate.

TCC Goa, founded by a lawyer and a geologist passionate about mountain travel, has planned the dates to align with the extended weekend, so that participants won’t miss much work or school.
