The 10-bedded Victor Albuquerque Memorial Ward will provide free treatment to the poor and needy, especially those who cannot afford treatment in private hospitals and are in dire need of treatment.
This treatment is supported by Victor Medical and Research Foundation where-in hospital charges will be waived completely for those patients admitted to this ward. The inauguration of the memorial ward will be done at the hands of Margao MLA Digambar Kamat.
The new 10-bedded state-of-the-art emergency and trauma integrated centre, equipped with necessary diagnostic and treatment facilities, will be manned by emergency physicians around the clock.
It is equipped to handle all types of medical emergencies and has an attached minor OT/procedure room.
The free multi-speciality medical centre is open for the general public from 10 am to 4 pm and would have specialities such as cardiology/cardiac surgery, neurosurgery, general medicine, diabetology, chest and respiratory medicine, laparoscopic and general surgery, gastroenterology, urology, nephrology, obstetrics and gynaecology, orthopaedic and joint replacement, physiotherapy, diet and nutrition, cosmetic and plastic surgery, dermatology, dental/maxillofacial surgery, ENT, and psychiatry.
Victor Hospital is a 150-bedded multi-Speciality, super-speciality hospital with state-of-the-art facilities providing comprehensive diagnostic, medical, surgical and emergency care of world-class standards with over 25 full-time specialists that are available around the clock.
