Koshaa Natural & Earth-friendly Store, Porvorim, presents ‘Sustainable Living Workshop’ on December 17, 2023 where like-minded individuals can come together, share recipes and enjoy a delicious, eco-conscious meal.
The programme will include the following sessions:
BALCONY COMPOSTING: Subbu Nayak will simplify balcony composting — transforming kitchen scraps into nutrient-rich compost, which is perfect for urban living.
FOOD WASTE REDUCTION: Abhinav Apte will share strategies to minimise food waste, and promote conscious eating habits for an eco-friendly lifestyle.
BIO-ENZYME MAKING: Jyoti Jalan will guide participants in making bio-enzymes at home, showcasing their versatile uses for a greener and healthier household.
DIY NEWSPAPER BAGS & ‘SHARE TO SAVE’ INTITATIVE: Siddesh Valvaikar introduces DIY newspaper bags and the ‘Share to Save’ program, offering free stainless steel (SS) cutlery – collect, wash and return it to reduce plastic plate usage.
POTLUCK GATHERING: Participants can bring a dish, prepared using locally sourced, organic ingredients.
The Koshaa store, located in Porvorim, features a range of organic and eco-friendly products sourced from farmers, farmer co-operatives and small enterprises.
